WhatsApp templates are pre-defined messages that you can use in your automations. They are useful for sending standardized messages to your users, such as welcome messages, order confirmations, and appointment reminders.
How it Works
When you create a WhatsApp template, you can define the content of the message, as well as any variables that you want to include. For example, you could create a welcome message that includes the user's name:
Welcome, {{1}}!
When you use this template in an automation, you can provide a value for the {{1}} variable, and it will be replaced with the user's name.
Creating a New WhatsApp Template
To create a new WhatsApp template, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the WhatsApp Templates section in the Automations menu.
- Click on the New WhatsApp Template button.
- Fill in the required details, such as the template name, category, and content.
- If you want to include variables in the template, use the
{{1}},{{2}}, etc. format. - If you want to create an interactive template, select the "Interactive" type and add the components.
- Save the template.
Using WhatsApp Templates in Automations
Once you have created a WhatsApp template, you can use it in your automations. To do this, simply select the template from the list of available templates in the "Send WhatsApp Template" action.
You can then provide values for any variables that you have defined in the template.
By using WhatsApp templates, you can create powerful and personalized automations that engage your users and provide them with the information they need.
