The onboarding wizard walks you through three steps. Complete each step using the company you intend to configure.
1. Configure Assistant
This walkthrough uses the website channel during onboarding.
Choose the assistant name, model, conversation tone, and company instructions. Explain what it should help with, which business policies it must use, and when to direct a customer to your team.
Use your real policies. For example: “Answer questions about our delivery service using the attached delivery guide. If a delivery date is unknown, ask the customer for their order reference.”
2. Connect a Channel
Give the channel a name and select its assistant. For the website widget, configure the theme colour, header, welcome message, offline message, and displayed assistant name.
The WhatsApp option introduces WhatsApp setup; finish the account connection through Integrations. Selecting the option alone does not establish a working sender.
3. Add Knowledge
Add up to four URL sources and up to four uploaded documents in the wizard. Give each source a descriptive title. More sources can be added later under Knowledge Base.
Processing runs in the background. Check the document status before expecting the assistant to use its contents.
Finish and test
Open the dashboard, review the assistant and channel, and send a test message through the customer-facing channel. Confirm the answer, form behavior if enabled, and human handover. For a website, copy the widget's embed code and install it on your site.
